Thermal transpiration — where it appears

The pressure difference two vessels at different temperatures settle at when they are joined by a hole smaller than the mean free path. Equal fluxes rather than equal pressures is the equilibrium condition, so P/√T is what matches — and every low-pressure gauge at a different temperature from its vessel reads wrong by that factor.
