Magnetic tension — where it appears

The pull a magnetic field exerts along its own lines, which for a line bent to radius R gives a transverse force B²/μ₀R per unit volume. Divided by the fluid's density it is the square of the Alfvén speed over R, so a bend straightens in the time a signal takes to cross it and in no other time.
